The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is now requiring all drivers license applicants to complete an Impact Texas Drivers course. Applicants ages 18 to 24 years old must take the Impact Texas Adult Drivers (ITAD) in addition to this 6 hour adult drivers ed course. It is a free 1-hour online course, and must be completed no more than 90 days prior to the applicant taking the behind-the-wheel skills examination at the TX DPS or through a third-party tester. ITAD should be completed after the 6-hour Adult Driver Education Course. You will need our Drivers Education School Number to register for the course which is found at the bottom of your certificate of completion, click the link below to visit the ITAD course.
Texas Adult Drivers Education provides the 6 hour adult drivers education course required for drivers license applicants ages 18-24. If you are of the ages 25 or older you may also take this course and skip the written test at the TX DPS.
