Course Tuition
A registration fee (in the amount posted on the Sign Up page for regular USPS shipping and Overnight/Next Day shipping) will be charged to the STUDENT. This fee includes all required instructional materials and needs to be paid prior to beginning the course.
Course Schedule
C & G Enterprises (d/b/a 1-2-3 Driving School), hereafter referred to as the SCHOOL OWNER, offers a course composed of 1 tutorial unit, 8 training units of instruction and 1 final exam (divided into two (2) tests). The course will be available to the STUDENT 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This availability may be affected by circumstances such as, but not limited to: system, site or connectivity failure over which the SCHOOL OWNER has no control. The STUDENT must complete the entire course within three (3) months of the original date of payment, otherwise the student must sign up to take the course over again, which includes registering and paying for the entire course. Likewise, if a student fails the course (by not passing one of the two final test after being given three (3) chances to do so) then the STUDENT will also need to sign up to take the course over again, which includes registering and paying for the entire course.
Hardware and Software
The SCHOOL OWNER prescribes minimum hardware and software requirements for completing the course. Minimum browser requirements are the use of Internet Explorer 9 or greater, Firefox 3.6.x or greater, Safari 5.x or greater, or Chrome 19.x or greater (where “x” corresponds to a subversion of a major version of that software). The browser needs to support and have enabled JavaScript and cookies. The minimum hardware required is such that it should be able to support the software configuration listed above. The course requires the use of a pointing device such as a mouse, finger, stylus or trackpad. The course requires the use of speakers or headphones, to listen to audio and video parts of the course. All students will go through the software tutorial after registration, but prior to the start of the course, which will check for minimum hardware and software requirements.
Completion and Certification Policy
The STUDENT agrees to complete all phases of the approved curriculum in order to receive a certificate of completion. Any time missed must be made up. The SCHOOL OWNER is prohibited from issuing a certificate of completion if the STUDENT has not met all the requirements for course completion and a STUDENT shall not accept a certificate under such circumstances.
STUDENT may be required to pay fees to SCHOOL OWNER if through no fault of SCHOOL OWNER, STUDENT requests a duplicate and/or reissue of the original course completion certificate. STUDENT may also be required to pay fees to SCHOOL OWNER if through no fault of SCHOOL OWNER, STUDENT does not receive original course completion certificate and does not bring this issue to the attention of the SCHOOL OWNER or SCHOOL within the expiration time of three (3) months from the original date of payment. STUDENT may also be required to pay duplicate fees to SCHOOL OWNER if through no fault of SCHOOL OWNER, STUDENT entered incorrect or inaccurate information (mis-spelling, bad punctuation, etc) that was then used to create STUDENT’S course completion certificate (after attempted phone verification of said information by employee of SCHOOL OWNER) and STUDENT has already received incorrect course completion certificate.
Shipping Policy
All course completion certificates are mailed out each business day, Monday through Friday, at 4pm CDT/CST for any STUDENTS that passed the course before 4pm that same business day or after 4pm the previous business day. If STUDENT passed the course after 4pm, then the course completion certificate will be mailed out the following business day by 4pm. All shipping times are estimates and may be adversely affected by distance, weather or other unforeseen circumstances. In some rare circumstances, Overnight/Next Day mailed certificates may not be delivered overnight/next day due to distance, weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Grading and Progress Policy
The STUDENT agrees that they may not be certified or given credit for the course unless they score 70% or higher on both final exams (with up to 3 retakes permitted per exam). Alternative testing techniques for students with reading, hearing or learning handicaps and policies for re-testing students who score less than 70% will be a) review of material; b) translation, if necessary or possible; and c) re-testing, verbally if necessary.
Authentication
STUDENT understands that for identity verification purposes, the SCHOOL OWNER may utilize one or all of the following methods for ensuring the identity of the course participant: 1.) Require the STUDENT to enroll in a biometric voice authentication system, requiring subsequent and random voice samples in order to validate against the originally enrolled voice print. 2.) Access one or more public 3rd party databases in order to extract drivers license, vehicle registration and/or personal credit information for the sole purpose of validating STUDENT responses to authentication questions presented randomly throughout the course. 3.) In event that STUDENT is unable to authenticate using biometric or public 3rd party methods STUDENT will be required to complete the final exam in the presence of a Notary Public. STUDENT is responsible for all costs and fees associated with completing the final exam in presence of a Notary Public. STUDENT authorizes the SCHOOL OWNER to utilize biometric voice authentication and authorizes access to personal information under the condition that it be used for the exclusive purpose of student validation.
Circumvention Warning
The STUDENT agrees that HE/SHE, and not any other person, will study the material in its entirety, including complete all questions and the final exam. It is illegal to attempt to circumvent this online state-approved course or provide false information. If the SCHOOL OWNER discovers that the STUDENT has willfully misrepresented himself or herself, has cheated or has allowed another person to take the course in their place, the STUDENT will be stopped from taking the course with no refund of the registration fees. In addition, the STUDENT may be prosecuted for perjury and other criminal acts which are punishable by law.
Cancellation and Refund Policies
A full refund will be made to any student who requests that their enrollment contract be canceled within 30 days of registering for the course and prior to attempting the final examination. The SCHOOL OWNER will terminate, without notice, the enrollment of any student who has not completed the course within 90 days. All registration fees paid are due and refundable when the course of instruction is discontinued by the SCHOOL OWNER, preventing a student from completing the course, or the enrollment of the student was procured as a result of any misrepresentation in advertising, promotional materials, or employees of the SCHOOL OWNER. All refunds will be issued and/or initiated within 30 days following receipt of a permissible request for cancellation. If, at a later time, the STUDENT decides they would like to continue the course, no training credit will transfer and the STUDENT will need to complete the entirety of the course.
